For New York Public Library Cardholders, Interlibrary Loan provides access to library materials that are not available in the New York metropolitan area through agreements with libraries throughout the country. If you are unable to locate an item in the Library Catalog, please see a librarian at a reference desk or use the ILLiad web-based form for loans and articles. Other ways to obtain copies of materials that are not available at the New York Public Library are METRO referral cards and the Manhattan Research Library Initiative.
For a fee, Premium Services provides copies of materials from the collections of the New York Public Library. Rush delivery, within 24 hours or less, is available for some materials. We offer delivery as either paper copies or PDF format. All copies provided by Premium Services are for research use only.
